At Canine Tutor, LLC/Canine University of Ohio, we specialize in providing top-notch dog training services tailored to your pet's needs. Our methods prioritize positive motivation and include a range of training programs such as obedience, behavioral modification, pet therapy, and service dog training.
Services
Private Training
We offer one-on-one private training for those who have specific topics they would like to address for their dog: housetraining, puppy basics, obedience, behavior issues, leash manners, reliable recall, etc.
Service Dog Training
We have 12 years of Service Dog training experience for those with medical or psychiatric disabilities. We work with the client's current dog or locate and train new pup or dog for the specific service work.
Virtual Dog Training
Personalized live video training consultations via Zoom or FaceTime. There are many topics that a dog owner has that can be addressed via virtual: selecting a pup/dog, housetraining, puppy basics, obedience, behavior issues, etc.

ABOUT CANINE TUTOR
Canine Tutor, LLC/Canine University of Ohio is owned and managed by Amy Spence Gutmann, trainer and primary behaviorist. With a wealth of experience spanning over 32 years, Amy is dedicated to delivering exceptional dog training services. Member of Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). Registered evaluator for Therapy Dog International (TDI) and AKC Canine Good Citizen (AKC). She offers diverse curriculum to her students in SW Florida, NE Ohio and now globally via online platforms. Her training philosophy focuses on positive motivation in order to gain and maintain a positive relationship between dog and owner/family and in turn improve the dog's success in training. Specialties include behavior modification, obedience, pet therapy, and service dog training.
